Ujwal Chablani is a Technology, Empowerment and Leadership coach and Consulting Partner. A Computer Engineer by education, he spent 25 years serving the Information Technology Leadership objectives of various organizations like Compaq, Bechtel, IBM and UnitedLex. He has travelled extensively and lead projects in networking, Data-center, IT outsourcing, contact center, Help Desk solutions and technology transformation domains.
As the IT leader and member of UnitedLex India Leadership Team (2013-2017), Ujwal was responsible for the global Technology Infrastructure operations. He was specifically responsible to create and implement standard infrastructure frameworks, hire and train technology professionals, drive culture and values for employee and customer delight, and own support systems as well as processes across all geographic locations.
Previously, as the IT Leader at IBM Global Process Services, he spearheaded the technology function in supporting IBM’s Services Business delivery across India and Philippines.
Certified in Project Leadership, Ujwal is passionate about partnering with individuals as well as organizations in pursuit programs and structures that meet and exceed their specific training, leadership development and coaching objectives.
A technology infrastructure and services specialist, he has worked with people across multiple geographies and time zones, recognizing and addressing the challenges posed by culture, beliefs and business practice related barriers.
He has also led Effective Communication workshops to attune employee interactions with the overall objectives of their role, as well as with the vision and mission of their organization. He has collaborated with senior faculty in schools to create a curriculum for participative learning through speech and debate. This was aimed at imparting foundational skills of critical analysis, impactful communication, leadership and teamwork at an early stage.
Ujwal’s approach to coaching is in unison with his own core beliefs about building deep empathy first, matching the context and content of conversations to that of the coachee; and staying completely committed to the coachee’s vision. He leverages from two decades of management experience for anecdotes, success as well as failure stories and personal experiences shared by many individuals across globally diverse geographic and cultural domains. His style of coaching matches the pace of the coachee, yet challenging the goals in a subtle fashion to encourage stretch outcomes.
